PESHAWAR: The Qaumi Wattan Party (QWP) on Thursday announced to quit Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)-led coalition government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The announcement came a day after the PTI chairman Imran Khan instructed Chief Minister KPK Pervez Khattat to end coalition with the QWP in the province over corruption. The provincial government earlier also dismissed two cabinet ministers belonging to the QWP over poor performance and corruption charges.
In a press conference in Peshawar on Thursday ‚ the QWP provincial chairman Sikandar Sherpao said his party was not being taken into confidence on important national issues.
