ISLAMABAD: The federal government on Saturday assured its support to the Balochistan government to tackle the situation arising out of terrorist attacks in Quetta and Ziarat.

In a telephone call to the Balochistan Chief Minister Abdul Malik Baloch, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said that those involved in these terrorist acts are the enemies of Pakistan and Baluchistan.

The prime minister said that the entire nation is with the people of Balochistan at this critical juncture.

Meanwhile‚ the prime minister telephoned Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan and sought details of Quetta carnage in which several people have lost their lives.

The PM directed the Interior Minister to immediately coordinate with the Balochistan Government and extend maximum assistance from the federal government’s law enforcement agencies to control this unfortunate situation.
