PoliticsPTI slams acquittal of Nawaz Sharif’s sons in graft cases
  • Terms dry cleaning proven criminals under judicial patronage lamentable
  • Flays unconstitutional sentences, unjust imprisonment of Imran Khan

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Spokesperson strongly criticized the acquittal of Nawaz Sharif’s sons Hassan Nawaz and Hussain Nawaz in the mega corruption references, saying that the suspension of sentences of the proclaimed offenders involved in looting the national kitty for decades one after another would not only tarnish reputation of the judicial system but it would also shake the confidence of the nation in the justice system.

In a statement on Wednesday, the PTI Spokesperson said that the shameful process of bringing the proven criminals, who looted the national treasure with both hands and erected empires abroad, back to powers after getting them dry-cleaned under the judicial patronage continued with full force.

The PTI leader stated that after mafia took the reins of the Country, the justice system of the country has been mortgaged in the hands of Sharifs and Zardaris to facilitate their children to take part in the loot and plunder of the national kitty once again.

The PTI Spokesperson recalled that during the past two years, the state buried shame, modesty, law and justice with its own hands to facilitate the return of the national criminals one after another.

Lashing out at the double standards in delivery of justice, he said that on one hand, under the auspices of certified criminals, the court kept unjustly the nation’s beloved leader and former Prime Minister Imran Khan in jail for the last 7 months and handed him down unconstitutional sentences, while on the other, proclaimed offenders were exonerated of mega corruption cases with light speed.

The Spokesperson went on to say that return of fugitive Nawaz Sharif’s sons in the Al-Azizia Steel Mills, Flagship and Avenfield references was a practical manifestation of “Repeat Telecast” of PDM Circus.

In addition, he said that the acquittal of the elements, who had treated the nation as their slaves and run the government as their personal fiefdom for 75 years was tantamount to hurt the hearts of millions of the countrymen and to encourage corruption.

The PTI Spokesperson said that after stealing the public mandate in the darkness of the night, the constitution, democracy and morality were trampled upon to forcefully impose the people-rejected elements on the nation under the state patronage.

The Spokesperson made it clear that if the courts failed to hold the criminals accountable, the people would take these certified criminals to task, who looted the nation generation after generation.
