  • Pakistan achieved nuclear capability due to due to nation’s sacrifices, dedicated scientists: PTI Spokesperson

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Spokesperson lashed out at a specific group of culprits and national criminals for taking credits of Pakistan’s peaceful nuclear program under a malicious attempt to exploit and use the program for their vested political gains, saying Pakistan acquired the nuclear capability due to the resolute nation and the dedication and hard work of the skill and patriotic scientists.

In a statement on Monday, the PTI Spokesperson said that nation marked May 28th as the day of Pakistan’s successful nuclear tests which was a bright example of national resolve, determination, sacrifice and unity.

The Spokesperson asserted that keeping in view the principle of maintaining minimum defense capabilities and restoring balance of powers in the region, the nation had taken a firm stance and decided to render any sacrifice to keep afloat the nuclear program to make Pakistan a nuclear power.

However, the PTI Spokesperson stated that a specific group of national criminals was making malicious attempts to use Pakistan’s peaceful nuclear program for their vested political interests despite the fact that they had no role in making Pakistan’s defence impregnable.

The PTI leader asserted that, keeping in view the principle of maintaining minimum defense capabilities and restoring balance of powers in the region, the nation had taken a firm stance and decided to render any sacrifice to keep afloat the nuclear program to make Pakistan a nuclear power.

The PTI Spokesperson made it clear that all the stages of the nuclear program, from the beginning to the end, had complete public support and participation, adding that it was a must to meet and fulfill the much-needed requirements of defense in the face of a much larger enemy, both in terms of economy and size, and the nation fulfilled the responsibility well.

Hailing the hard work and dedication of the scientists, he said that the scientists, rising above personal interests, made the beloved country’s security invincible and impregnable with their excellent skills and day-and-night work. PTI spokesperson stated that the resolute nation foiled all attempts by those handful of self-centered criminals who prioritized their personal political interests over national security.

Furthermore, he recalled that testimonies of several writers, especially those directly related to Pakistan’s nuclear program, were on record in this regard. The PTI spokesperson stated that those acting bravely in front of India at the insistence and intense pressure of the nation was laughable.

The PTI Spokesperson recalled former foreign minister Gohar Ayub Khan and Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan had told the nation how Nawaz Sharif’s platelets were rapidly falling after Indian’s nuclear blasts.

However, he stated that the nation blocked all escape routes for the eternal fugitive Nawaz Sharif by giving him a clear message to carry out nuclear blasts or ready to face the consequences.

The Spokesperson went on to say that the claims of making the country a nuclear power by those who weakened the country through loot of the national treasury and prioritizing politics over national interest were nothing more than a hoax.

In addition, he said that the mandate thieves, who ruined the country economically and politically, were directly confronting Pakistan’s national security with grave threats.

The PTI Spokesperson urged that in view of the delicacy of the situation, very serious and practical steps were required instead of creating official narratives and decision-makers should realize and refrain from negative experiments.
