  • PTI to resist curb on freedom of expression, access to information: PTI Spokesperson

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Spokesperson strongly denounced the unconstitutional, illegal and dictatorial move of the installation of so-called “firewall” by the mandate thieves, who usurped people of their fundamental and constitutional rights to freedom of expression and access to information.

In a statement on Wednesday, the PTI Spokesperson vowed that PTI would leave no stone unturned to foil any such unconstitutional and illegal bans, especially on social media.

The PTI Spokesperson said that Pakistan was currently under the control of the senseless traitors to the constitution and democracy, adding that public opinion could not be changed against the eternal enemies of constitution and law and mandate thieves through installing any firewall.

The Spokesperson stated that the enemies of the constitution and democracy were making all out efforts to turn Pakistan into a pasture of an absolute dictator by depriving the country of basic democratic freedoms.

The PTI Spokesperson asserted that the Country needed political stability and the rule of law and economic development, these power usurpers were pouring billions of rupees into disgusting practices like silencing the people and the media.

Furthermore, he condemned the shameful act of spending billions of rupees to silence the people and the media, and added that the PTI would not let the public opinion be swayed by the enemies of the constitution and democracy who are hiding behind the firewall. Instead, they should restore the constitution and return the public mandate.
