PESHAWAR: The Qaumi Watan Party (QWP) lawmaker Ibrar Hussain, who was expelled from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cabinet over alleged corruption, said on Thursday that he would go to the Supreme Court against his dismissal.

Hussain said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chief Imran Khan leveled allegation against him without any evidence. He said he would go to apex court and would ask Imran Khan and Jehangir Tareen to present evidences against him.

The QWP leader further said he would present corruption evidences of Imran Khan and Jehangir Tareen.

On Wednesday, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government removed three cabinet ministers over poor performance and corruption charges. Those provincial ministers who were removed from their posts included minister for Industries, Commerce & Labour Bakht Baidar, minister for Environment Ibrar Hussain and minister for Communication & Works Yousaf Ayub Khan.

Bakht Baida and Ibrar Hussain belong to Sher Pao’s QWP and Yousaf Ayub Khan is from PTI.
