ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf vehemently condemned the malicious agenda-oriented campaign against the respectable Islamabad High Court (IHC) judge Justice Babar Sattar on social media, demanding the Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) to take notice of the unabated incidents of direct and indirect harassment and intimidation of judges of high courts in order to fix responsibility against the perpetrators of this organized campaign.

PTI Spokesperson said that the government was responsible for this insulting and malicious campaign against Justice Babar Sattar.

He urged that the Chief Justice of Pakistan should protect the judges from threats and doxxing so as they could deliver decisions based on law and constitution without any fear.

PTI Spokesperson asserted that the undemocratic elements devoid of the concept of rule of law and constitution were resorting to such shameful tactics to accomplish their nefarious agenda of destroying judiciary after polluting the politics of the country.

He went on to say that filing baseless references and leveling absurd accusations against judges, who kept law and justice supreme, were the old pattern of the shameful and crooked mafia to harass and petrified judges so as to get decisions of their decisions.

PTI Spokesperson recalled that the central characters behind the open harassment of judges ranging from the Supreme Court to the high courts were the same who were known for taking favorable decisions from judges through bullying and coercions.

He reminded that this gang of criminals was always targeting judges, who gave just decisions based on law and constitution.

PTI Spokesperson stated that the mafia was accustomed to play matches with referees of their choice; hence they were only suit judges like Rafiq Tarar and Justice Qayyum.

He noted that PTI and Imran Khan always rendered matchless sacrifices for upholding judicial independence and supremacy of the constitution, which was evident from the PTI’s boycott of the 2008 elections and the incarceration of the party Founding Chairman.

PTI Spokesperson vowed that even today, if any party would play a lead role in the movement for restoration of the rule of law and independence of the judiciary, then it would be PTI.

He strongly condemned these kinds of shameful tactics to pressurize judges, who showed unprecedented courage and wisdom.

PTI Spokesperson made it clear that Pakistani nation and PTI stood by the judges who took firm stance for judicial independence and supremacy of the constitution and law.
