ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Secretary General Omar Ayub Khan came down hard on the fake, unconstitutional and inapt petrified governments in the center and Punjab for unleashing a reign of terror on peaceful protestors, who took to the streets on the PTI’s call against the theft of the public mandate, demanding the Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) to take notice of the situation.

Addressing a press conference along with PTI’s candidates for Islamabad Advocate Shoaib Shaheen, Advocate Ali Bukhari and Aamir Mughal, PTI Secretary General said that human rights violations were on the rise in Pakistan.

Omar Ayub said that peaceful protests were held across the country against theft of public mandate on the call of PTI but Punjab police detained PTI leaders and around 100 workers in various cases of serious nature including terrorism on the directives of fake chief minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz.

PTI Secretary General made it clear that PTI secured 180 National Assembly seats but the party candidates’ clear lead were converted into defeat through massive rigging and results manipulation, adding that February 8 results were tampered and changed on February 9 fraudulently.

He vowed that they would exercise all options including judiciary, parliament and holding peaceful protests within the ambit of the law and constitution to get back the stolen seats from mandate thieves.

He blasted Punjab police for detaining PTI senior leader Salman Akram Raja and Latif Khosa.

Omar Ayub stated that the Prime Minister and Chief Minister of Punjab were illegal because they were elected from the incomplete houses.

He said that Islamabad police was also involved in worst human rights violations, adding that they were sitting as dacoits in police uniforms.

Omar stated that IGP Islamabad Dr Akbar Nasir Khan, SSP Operations Malik Jamal Zafar and District Commissioner Irfan Nawaz Memon violated human rights and selectively committed torture against workers of PTI.

PTI Secretary General vowed that the police would be held accountable for their transgressions and human rights abuses, adding that the party would conduct audit of their accounts by summoning them in Public Accounts Committee, the privileges committees, human rights committees or the interior committee.

“We will see that during this period, did they fulfil their primary duty of protecting the public,” he added. However, Omar stated that instead of fulfilling their primary duty and working against dacoits and crimes, they had only one mission to crush the PTI. PTI Secretary General further stated he would not call the police officials as officers but personal servants of Shehbaz Sharif and Maryam, adding that they would be summoned and questioned about how they were violating their oaths.

Similarly, he stated that KP government would conduct an audit of the provincial police’s performance. “We will check their audit paras and performance; the abuses they committed against the people of PTI,” he added.

About IMF loan program, Omar feared that the illegitimate and unconstitutional government would waste the loan taken from the IMF because the current government neither have the legitimacy, guts nor the moral power to take much-needed tough and correct decisions to appropriately utilize the fund, which was taken as a last resort to fix the economy.

Omar recalled that a delegation of IMF had visited PTI Chairman-for-life Imran Khan last year, wherein he told the delegation that they could sign an agreement for the betterment of Pakistan.

“However, he told the IMF team that the February 8 elections should be held within its time under the law and Constitution,” he maintained.

Omar stated that the illegal caretaker governments did not abide by the Constitution and violated it.

Talking about Asif Ali Zardari’s oath, PTI Secretary General stated that the presidential elections was illegal, because he was elected from incomplete house.

Moreover, he stated that Zardari was a sick president and his health condition did not allow him to take this serious responsibility.

About back-breaking inflation, Omar stated that PDM government had trigged the flood of inflation and situation during caretakers further deteriorated. He feared that the inapt so-called government lacked public mandate would further compound the public miseries because it would be next to impossible for fake and bogus government to bottle the genie of inflation since they didn’t have the ability and mandate to take bold and correct decisions.

Omar lamented that former first lady Bushra Bibi was unjustly confined to a small room, adding that her meal issues have not yet been resolved.

He made it clear that Bushra Bibi should not be viewed as Imran Khan’s weakness rather she was his strength, adding that Bushra Bibi was not being given the constitutionally and legally entitled facilities, demanding that she should be given all facilities forthwith.

Omar vowed that PTI leadership topmost priority was to ensure earliest release of PTI leadership including Imran Khan, Bushra Bibi, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Pervez Elahi and others.

PTI Secretary General lambasted the fake, unconstitutional and fascist government for disrupting social media, adding that social media sites were being blocked and their speed were also been slowed so as the citizens could not able to get their hands on right and fast information.

He stated that Pakistan could not make progress without social media in this modern era, demanding restoration of the social media sites without any obstruction and blockage.
