ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said on Wednesday that his government fully respects the mandate of all provincial governments and all problems including economy would be resolved with the consensus of the provincial governments.

Addressing the meeting of the Council of Common Interest (CCI) in Islamabad on Wednesday, the prime minister said that we all have to work together for elimination of corruption and nepotism.

The prime minister said the challenges being faced by the country demand that we should cooperate with each other. He said that time has passed to degrade each other.

He said the federal government gives equal importance to all the four provinces and wants that they bring reforms to improve their performance. He assured full support of the federal government in this regard.

Nawaz Sharif said the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz government has closed the chapter of leg pulling therefore it discouraged no confidence motion in Azad Kashmir.

He said the government is working to devise a comprehensive strategy to overcome terrorism with the cooperation of all stakeholders.

He said Police reforms are essential to move forward for eliminating terrorism. He said merit and rule of law are vital importance to bring peace and stability in the society.
