PoliticsGovt to investigate leakage of Abbottabad Commission report: Rasheed

ISLAMABAD: The federal government would investigate whether a leaked report of Abbottabad Commission is really genuine, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Pervaiz Rasheed said on Tuesday.

“We have to investigate first that who was possessing this report and how it was leaked, and that is the leaked report really genuine nor not,” Rashid said while speaking to reporters in Islamabad on Tuesday.

Responding to a question‚ Pervaiz Rashid said nobody will come for the rescue of former President Pervez Musharraf as the case against him is not based on vengeance but the law has taken its course against him.

The minister told media in Islamabad that the date for all parties conference will be decided in the next 24 hours after consultations with all parliamentary parties.

“APC is aimed at evolving consensus national security strategy,” he said.
