ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has chalked out a strategy for the upcoming elections in Gilgit-Baltistan and asked the aspiring candidates to submit applications and asset details till July 11, 2020.

According to the details released by the Central Media Department, PTI sought the applications from aspiring candidates contesting elections on PTI’s tickets in Gilgit-Baltistan after the approval of the PTI Chief Organizer Saifullah Khan Nyazee.

The aspiring candidates will submit their applications and asset detail till July 11, 2020 and the criteria of submitting applications has been given on PTI’s website.

The PTI Chief Organizer Saifullah Khan Nyazee said on the occasion that Gilgit-Baltistan is an important part of the state of Pakistan with exceptional human and natural resources.

He said that the message and vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan is fast spreading among the people of Gilgit-Baltistan and it would be replicated in the forthcoming elections when people voted PTI to power.

According to the details released by PTI Central Media Department, PTI will announce the formation of a formal parliamentary board for Gilgit-Baltistan after the invitation of applications from the candidates.  The parliamentary board will examine the applications and announce the candidates in the light of the procedure laid down in the PTI constitution.   The entire process of providing data and applying for tickets has been posted on the official website of the PTI and those wishing to contest on PTI tickets will be able to submit their applications till July 11.
