LAHORE, Pakistan: The former Minister of State for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Pir Muhammad Amin Ul Hasnat Shah has joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

Pir Muhammad Amin Ul Hasnat will make the official announcement of joining PTI in Bhera on Saturday noon.

   

Along with Pir Amin Ul Hasnat, thousands of followers of Darbar-e-Alia Bhera Sharif will also become part of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.

Pir Amin Ul Hasnat is the son of Justice Shaykh Muhammad Karam Shah al-Azhari, a Sunni Barelvi leader and author of famous Tafseer Tafsir Zia Ul Quran. He served as the Minister of State for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony in Shahid Khaqan Abbasi’s Cabinet from August 4, 2017 to May 31, 2018.

In a Twitter statement, the PTI leader Chaudhry Fawad Hussain said that the joining of Pir Amin Ul Hasnat in Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf is of huge significance.

Chaudhry Fawad Hussain said that Pir Sahib and his family have influence all over Pakistan including Sargodha and Rawalpindi Divisions and overseas.
