LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) President Javed Hashmi has said that people didn’t vote Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Nawaz Sharif to power instead his party managed to arrange seats to form government.

Speaking at an Eid Millan Party on Tuesday, Hashmi said that forces that brought Nawaz Sharif into power should be afraid of God.

Hashmi said that if the previous National Assembly was ill, the incumbent house was even dead.

The PTI president also criticized the government decision of paying Rs500 billion to power companies.

Hashmi said the rulers didn’t want to hold local government elections and introduced poor legislation to remain at the helm of affairs.
