Nilofar Bakhtiar - The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Central Joint Secretary Nilofar Bakhtiar has been given the additional responsibility of the advisor to the PTI Chief Organizer. Nilofar will also perform the duty as a focal person for the Insaf Women Wing. According to the notification issued by the PTI Chief Organizer Saifullah Khan Nyazee, the additional reasonability was assigned to her in consultation with the Chairman PTI Imran Khan. The notification reads, “In exercise of powers conferred upon me by article V-4.2 and Chairman’s notification dated 13 March 2019, in consultation with the Chairman, Central Joint Secretary Nilofar Bakhtiar is hereby assigned as the additional office of the advisor to the PTI Chief Organizer.” Besides, she shall be the focal person for the Insaf Women Wing so as she could lead the Insaf Women Wing and ensure implementation of the Party Constitution and by-laws in true letter and spirit. Moreover, she shall be able to review any appointment at any level with the approval of the undersigned. It is pertinent to mention here that Nilofar has been in politics for the last 30 years. She was the Federal Minister for Tourism in Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz's Cabinet. Nilofar will also perform the duty as a focal person for the Insaf Women Wing.
