Nawaz sees no logic behind revolution, long march

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said on Monday that there is no logic behind the revolution and long march which sabotage the process of development in the country.

In his address at the launching ceremony of the Vision 2025 in Islamabad, the prime minister said that continuation of democratic system is the only way to steer the country out of all challenges.

Sharif said that the entire nation believes in democracy and supremacy of the constitution. He said that the nation stands together today for peace in the country and nobody is supporting the revolution of Dr Tahirul Qadri.

The premier said that the economy has already started showing positive trend as a result of prudent policies of the government. He said that that the people have given mandate to the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government and it will fulfill its agenda of development to transform the country into a cradle of peace and prosperity.
