Murad Saeed rebuffs political interference in recruitments

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Federal Minister for Communication and Postal Services Murad Saeed has said that political interference will not be tolerated and the process based on transparency and merit will be strictly followed in awarding jobs of any cadre.

In a statement on Tuesday, Murad Saeed while reiterating the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government’s resolve to ensure meritocracy stated that the custom of political interference in recruitments will be strongly discouraged.

“Even Class IV jobs will be awarded following merit”, the minister remarked.

The minister said that personal inclinations and political interference will not be tolerated anymore. He said that it is a high time to make meritocracy and justice, essential components of the system.

“Political appointments and ghost employment will be found nowhere”, he said.

Murad Saeed added that Prime Minister Imran Khan’s vision is beacon of light for us and following his prescience we will uplift the lower stratum of the Country to make it progress.
