PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government on Wednesday removed three cabinet ministers over poor performance and corruption charges.

Those provincial ministers who have been removed from their posts include minister for Industries, Commerce & Labour Bakht Baidar, minister for Environment Al Haj Ibrar Hussain and minister for Communication & Works Yousaf Ayub Khan.

Bakht Baida and Al Haj Ibrar Hussain belong to Sher Pao’s Qaumi Watan Party (QWP) and Yousaf Ayub Khan is from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

The sources said that the PTI Chairman Imran Khan, after receiving complaints of some ministers in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cabinet indulging in corruption, had directed the Chief Minister Pervez Khattak to immediately investigate and take action against them.
