LAHORE: The former Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan flayed Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif for making absurd accusations and said that he could not fool anyone by making these nonsensical and ridiculous statements just to drive a wedge between Pakistan’s biggest political party and the establishment only to save billions who stole from the people of Pakistan.

“Instead of making absurd accusations, the question that Shahbaz Sharif needs to answer is, who gained the most from the events of 9th May,?” Imran Khan said in a strong reaction to the prime minister’s absurd accusations,

Imran Khan said that the humiliating way in which he was abducted from the Islamabad High Court, as if he was some criminal, his lawyers and the Islamabad High Court (IHC) staff was also beaten up, has been declared completely unconstitutional and illegal by the Supreme Court.

“Has your government held anyone accountable for conducting an unconstitutional act,” he asked.

He said that any independent investigation would find that you and your band of crooks and money launderers who were petrified of losing elections to PTI, were behind the mayhem caused on 9th May and the crackdown against PTI that followed.

“Lastly, you cannot fool anyone by making these nonsensical and ridiculous statements just to drive a wedge between Pakistan’s biggest political party and the establishment only so that you can save billions that you’ve stolen from the people of Pakistan,” he maintained.

Meanwhile, the PTI Spokesperson termed Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s statement pertaining to the Army Chief, the Pakistan Army and the events of May 9 as very irresponsible, shameful, reprehensible and dangerious.

Reacting to the prime minister’s statement, PTI spokesperson came down hard on Shahbaz Sharif for his senseless statement and said undoubtedly the dignity of the position would be damaged and it would become a source of chaos and disorder when an incompetent and rude person was appointed as the Prime Minister of the Country.

The PTI Spokesperson stated that the prime minister’s attempt to use the military leadership and the armed forces as a fuel for his controversial narrative could have disastrous consequences for the Country.
