Anti-polio campaign postponed in FATA

PESHAWAR: A three-day anti-polio campaign has been postponed in Bajour agency due to incomplete arrangements and unavailability of vaccines.

The decision was taken by the local health department after directives from the directorate of health services, the Federally Administered Tribal Area (FATA).

The agency surgeon Dr Zakir Hussain said that the polio campaign has not only been postponed in Bajaur agency but also in the entire tribal areas. He said that now the campaign will be launched on May 5.
