ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) Senator Farooq H. Naek resigned on Tuesday as leader of the house in Senate.

Naek said that it is prerogative of new Prime Minister to nominate leader of the House‚ therefore there is no reason for him to continue as leader of the Upper House.
