ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Since the issuance of Pattan-Coalition38 Press Release on July 3 about Form-45s & 46s of Lahore Constituencies, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) appears to have modified or changed the result forms on its website of many Constituencies.
“Our audit team is trying to find out if there are any reasons for the modification,” PATTAN, a civil society organization, said.
The Elections Act 2017 appears to bar the ECP from changing election result/s forms once final consolidated results are announced through Form-49, unless Courts or Tribunals allow the recount.
Reading of the Google Drive folders of the ECP appears to show that modification had taken place in 12 National Assembly (NA) Constituencies (all fall in Punjab), and 21 of Punjab Province (PP) Constituencies of the same province modification.
“Our audit team is probing result forms of other provinces, and we will share the results in due course,” PATTAN said.
