ISLAMABAD: US special envoy for Pakistan and Afghanistan James Dobbins called on Adviser to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs and National Security Sartaj Aziz in Islamabad on Monday and discussed Pak-US relations and situation in Afghanistan and the region.

The two sides also discussed agenda of a meeting scheduled to take place between Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and US president Barack Obama.

   

Earlier in the day, Dobbins arrived in Islamabad to finalise the agenda of the meeting to be held between Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and President Obama in Washington on October 23.

It was also reported that both sides will also finalise potential points to be raised during the meeting between the Prime Minister and the US president. Moreover, the meeting between the two diplomats will also discuss the withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan by the end of 2014.
