Monitoring Desk: The Afghanistan Freedom Front (AFF) has claimed that after heavy clashes with Taliban fighters in parts of Kamdesh district in Nuristan province, several Taliban outposts were captured by its forces. However, independent media reports only two posts have been captured by AFF.
Meanwhile, Afghan Taliban said that they launched air and ground operations using drones and infantry against Afghanistan Freedom Front positions in Kamdesh district of Nuristan province and Naari district of Kunar province. Fighting remained ongoing with reports of Taliban counterattacks and surrounding the areas.
