COAS leaves for Saudi Arabia on three-day official visit

RAWALPINDI: Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif on Tuesday left for Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on a three-day official visit at the invitation of Saudi authorities, according to a press release issued by the Inter Services Public Services (ISPR).

During the visit, the COAS will call on senior political and military leadership. The interaction will encompass Pakistan – Saudi relations with particular emphasis on defence and security cooperation.

Earlier, the COAS was seen off at Nur Khan Air Base by senior military officials.
