Treason case: Musharraf’s counsel gets FIA report

ISLAMABAD: The special court formed to try former military ruler General (retd) Pervez Musharraf for high treason resumed hearing of the case in Islamabad on Wednesday, during the on the directive of the court, the prosecutor Akram Sheikh handed over copy of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) 237-page report to the counsel of the former president,Farogh Nasim.

A three-member bench of the special court headed by Justice Faisal Arab and comprising Justice Tahira Safdar and Justice Yawar Ali was hearing the case.

Later, the bench adjourned the hearing of high treason case against Pervez Musharraf till May 22.

The court will record the statement of secretary interior on that day.
