QUETTA: Three gunmen kidnapped Awami National Party (ANP) leader Arbab Abdul Zahir Kasi after they intercepted his vehicle on Patel road on the outskirts of Balochistan’s Quetta city on Wednesday.

His driver, who was held by police, told that the gunmen forcibly took the ANP leader away, adding that the kidnappers had also subjected him to torture before snatching away his mobile phone and car keys.

Police sealed the area as a search operation went underway.
