ISLAMABAD; Minister for Information and Broadcasting Senator Pervaiz Rashid says appointment of Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB) will be made according to the constitution.

Talking to newsmen in Islamabad on Tuesday‚ he said NAB Chairman will be person which is acceptable to the whole of the country. He said opposition has proposed some names for the NAB Chairman.

To a question‚ Pervaiz Rashid said no decision has yet been taken about the Presidential candidate. He said we want to make Pakistan a country free of load shedding and terrorism.

He said electricity projects are being completed in record time. He hoped that we will be able to generate electricity according to our requirements during the next three years.

Information Minister said steps are being taken to stop theft of electricity and gas. He urged the provincial governments to cooperate with the Federation in this regard.

Replying to another question‚ he said Supreme Court’s verdict regarding secret funds will be implemented.
