Lahore, Pakistan: PMLN President Mian Nawaz Sharif has asked his members of parliament to submit their development schemes for grant demand by the end of March 2025 so they can be included in the annual budget, which will be presented in the last week of May 2025.

Members of parliament with whom Mian Nawaz Sharif regularly meets district-wise confirmed the information, and one of them stated that “Mian Sahib asked to submit development schemes in our constituencies to Ahsan Iqbal Sahib by the end of March 2025.”

According to party insiders, Mian Nawaz Sharif believes that the PTI narrative building machine is difficult to defeat by the PMLN and has failed to counter the PTI narrative but vote bank can be secured through offering development infrastructure. They are of the view that the forthcoming Public Sector Development Program (PSDP) of the federal government would also include mega development schemes proposed by PMLN parliamentarians while the Punjab budget would be designed per demands for the grants of parliamentarians.
