SHEIKHUPURA: Pakistan Muslim League- Nawaz (PML-N) lawmaker from Punjab Assembly, Arif Sandheela, allegedly manhandled a lady doctor and threw a cell phone at her face after she refused to give free of cost medicines.

According to details, Dr Sana Jabeen, lady doctor at a veterinary hospital, was allegedly manhandled by PML-N MPA after she refused to give free of cost medicines.

The MPA threw a mobile phone on her face and also pushed her out of his office, eyewitnesses told.

Dr Sana claimed the issue was regarding free medicines, even though the government does not provide them.

According to her account, MPA Sandheela is a regular visitor at the clinic for free medication and has never purchased a required hospital ticket priced at Rs2.

On the other hand, Arif Sandheela said that he did not do anything wrong and did not manhandle her up. ‘She asked me for her transfer and when I refused she started blaming me,’ he said.

Dr Sana urged the Punjab CM to take notice of the incident.
