ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) vehemently condemned the abduction of the party social media team’s senior member, Azhar Mashwani’s two brothers by the state’s henchman during a midnight raid at their residence, demanding Chief Justices Lahore High Court (LHC) and Supreme Court (SC) to take notice of gruesome act and ensure their immediate release from the kidnappers.

In a strongly-worded reaction to the abduction of two brothers of Azhar Mashwani from their residence last night, the PTI Spokesperson strongly denounced the abduction of Prof. Mazhar and Prof. Zahoor Mashwani at the hands of the state’s scoundrels.

The PTI Spokesperson demanded Chief Justice of LHC and Chief Justice of Pakistan to take immediate notice of the barbaric incident and ensure their immediate recovery and release, who are non-political individuals associated with noble profession of education and teaching.

The Spokesperson decried the state of lawlessness, where the country had become a jungle, leaving citizens’ lives, property, honor, and rights unprotected.

The PTI leader stated that the brutal tactics of collective punishment was unacceptable even as a weapon of war in today’s civilized world, but unfortunately Jungle Raj devolved into a state of animalism, where brutal and fascist tactics reign supreme.

The PTI Spokesperson pointed out that simply for being affiliated with PTI, Azhar Mashwani was initially subjected to forced disappearance, and later, Prof. Zahoor Mashwani was held in forced detention for approximately five months. Moreover, they noted that Azhar’s father had also been previously abducted, in a brazen defiance of all moral and legal norm.

The Spokesperson went on to say that the motivations behind this pervasive fascism were well understood by the entire nation, as it was part of the same reprehensible pattern of targeting individuals affiliated with PTI, a chain of events that had become all too familiar.

The Spokesperson urged the esteemed judiciary, particularly the Chief Justices of the LHC and the SC to take cognizance of the state’s blatant use of coercion and strong-arm tactics, besides taking prompt steps to ensure earliest release Professor Mazhar and Professor Zahoor Mashwani from the clutches of the mandate thieves of Punjab and the Center.

The PTI leader demanded that the perpetrators of this heinous crime be brought to justice and they should be held accountable.
