At least 15 people were killed and more than 28 further suffered injuries when a blast occurred in Pishin Town of Balochistan on Wednesday.
Sources said that the blast targeted an election office of an independent candidate in Balochistan Assembly Constituency PB-47 Pishin-l.
Meanwhile, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has taken notice of the blast in Pishin, and asked the Chief Secretary and Inspector General of Police (IG) Balochistan to submit a report in this regard.
The ECP also issued instructions to initiate an immediate inquiry against persons involved in such violent incidents.
