ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) will hold a public gathering (jalsa) and sit-in as part of its Haqeeqi Azadi March at Srinagar Highway in Islamabad on November 4.

The President PTI Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Ali Nawaz Awan has written an application to the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Islamabad, seeking a Non-Objection Certificate (NOC) for holding the jalsa/sit-in at Srinagar Highway between H-9 and G-9 near Weekly Bazaar Islamabad.

Ali Nawaz Awan also requested the DC Islamabad to take necessary measures especially related to security for the peaceful public gathering.

The PTI maintained that the Supreme Court of Pakistan has specified the H-9 area for the protest demonstrations, and they will hold the peaceful sit-in there by adhering to the law.

Route of PTI Haqeeqi Azadi March & venue of PTI’s jalsa/sit-in in IslamabadOn Tuesday, the Chairman PTI Imran Khan, whiling holding a Press Conference in Islamabad, announced to start the Long March named as Haqeeqi Azadi March from Lahore towards Islamabad on Friday (October 28, 2022).

Meanwhile, the PTI’s Central Secretary General Asad Umar told on Twitter on Wednesday that Imran Khan leading the Haqeeqi Azadi March will reach Islamabad on November 4.

Asad Umar said that the participants of Haqeeqi Azadi March led by Imran Khan will begin their journey from Lahore on Friday and after passing through Muridke, Kamoki, Gujranwala, Daska, Sialkot, Sambrial, Wazirabad, Gujarat, Lala Musa, Kharian, Jhelum, Gujjar Khan, and Rawalpindi, it will reach Islamabad.

The PTI leader said that all convoys from across the Country will reach Islamabad on November 4.
