The Embassy officials remain in regular, close contact with the Afghan authorities including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Special Force for the security of diplomatic Missions in Kabul and the Afghan Police, on all such matters.

When contacted, a source in Foreign Office of Pakistan in Islamabad said that the Foreign Office is also in close contact with the Pakistan Embassy in Kabul and there is no issue of releasing visas to Afghan nationals as claimed in some reports appeased in Afghan media.

It is pertinent to mention that Afghan media is quite hostile against Pakistan and most of time publishes unfounded stories without checking facts and getting version of Embassy of Pakistan in Kabul.
