LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Monday overturned Election Tribunal’s decision to bar former Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf from participating in upcoming polls and allowed him to contest elections, Dispatch News Desk (DND) reported.
Earlier, the LHC bench had conditionally allowed former PM to contest the elections.
The former PM is contesting for National Assembly seat from NA-51 in Gujar Khan from where he had won in previous two elections.
