ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) Thursday issued code of conduct for holding by elections in NA-101 on March 22.

According to ECP spokesman, in order to ensure that by elections in NA-101 are conducted fairly, “the ECP directs that all executive authorities in the federation and the Province will not use state resources to influence the elections in favour of a particular candidate or a political party.”

If any person in government service misuses his official position in any manner, he will be liable to be proceeded as per law.

“No transfers/postings of the civil servants shall be made after the issuance of Schedule without prior approval of the Election Commission till the publication of election results, the ECP’s spokesman said.

It is pertinent to mention here that the seat was vacated due to the judgement of the Supreme Court.
