ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is going to hold intra-party elections within two months.

Chairman PTI Imran Khan talking to media, after Central Executive Committee meeting held to discuss party’s performance in local government elections, said that voters would directly elect party’s office holders at district, provincial and Central level.

He admitted that PTI’s organizational structure was weak, adding local government elections has helped PTI to reach at grassroots level.

He said that all party’s positions would be dissolved once mechanism was finalized with party’s Chief Election Commissioner Tasneem Noorani and new tickets would be given to contesting candidates.
