ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The first ever three-day Tableeghi Ijtema in Lakki Marwat will begin from October 5 for which all required preparations are underway.
The Ijtema will take place from October 5 to October 7 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Southern Lakki Marwat District, as per the announcement of Raiwind Tableeghi Markaz.
Meanwhile, the Raiwind Shura has announced the names of Ulema who would deliver sermons during the Lakki Marwat Ijtema.
As per the announcement, Maulana Muhammad Jameel, Maulana Zia-ul-Haq, Maulana Muhammad Ahmed Bahawalpuri, Maulana Tariq Jameel, Maulana Abdullah, Maulana Abdul Rehman (Rawalpindi Markaz), Maulana Usman, Bhai Bakht Munir, Bhai Hashmat (Lahore Markaz), Bhai Zahir Shah, Qari Habib-ur-Rehman (Quetta Markaz), Dr Saleem ( Rawalpindi Markaz) and Dr Noushad (Karachi Markaz) would address the Ijtema.
It is the first time that Tableeghi Ijtema is being organized in Lakki Marwat as earlier it used to be held in Balakot, a town in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Mansehra District.
Lakki Marwat Ijtema will be followed by the annual Raiwind Ijtema which is scheduled to begin from November 2.
Separately, those Ulema and people from Karachi who have spent four months or a year in Tableegh (preaching) will flock to the Raiwind Tableeghi Markaz for four-day Jor (gathering), commencing from October 4.
