Press Release: On 15 October 2025 — Under the Supervision of the District Administration, AGAHE, with support from the Asia Pacific Humanitarian Fund, organized an Inception Workshop for Stakeholders at the Social Welfare Complex, Jhang.
The session was attended by the Assistant Commissioner Tehsil Jhang, Deputy Director Social Welfare / Focal Point for Humanitarian Response and Early Recovery, representative of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), and Humanitarian Partners working in the district.
During the event, Mr. Adeeb Alam Khan, Project Coordinator, AGAHE, shared that under this project 1,400 food packages will be distributed among vulnerable flood-affected families in Union Councils Hassan Khan and Shah Jeewna of Tehsil & District Jhang.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Farukh Mehmood, Assistant Commissioner, stated, “The District Administration appreciates such humanitarian interventions and will continue to facilitate wherever needed. Transparency and accountability are essential to ensure that assistance reaches the most vulnerable families.”
The initiative reflects strong collaboration and commitment to support ongoing relief and recovery efforts in Jhang.
