ISLAMABAD: The new monsoon spell is likely to begin in the next three to four days as the current system of rain is dying down gradually across the country, the Pakistan Metrological Department (PMD) said.

The PMD said rain with thunderstorm is expected at isolated places Hazara Division‚ North-east Punjab and Kashmir during the next 12 hours. However‚ hot and humid weather has been forecast in rest parts of the country.

Intermittent rains will continue in upper parts, the metrological department said, adding that a new spell of monsoon rain is likely to set off in couple of days.
