MULTAN, Pakistan: The Federal Minister for Food Security and Research Sikandar Hayat Bosan said on Monday that Metro Bus Service would be made operational in Multan in May 2016.

Talking to an open court in Multan on Monday, he said that Metro Bus Project was one of the biggest project of South Punjab, of which 70 percent work had been completed. He said the government gave special Kissan package worth Rs 431 billion and won hearts of farmers.

The work on Metro bus project phase-2 would also be launched very soon to facilitate people coming from Muzaffargarh, Shujabad, Jalalpur Pirwala and Bahawalpur, he added.

Bosan said that people voted Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) in local bodies elections after observing its good performance.

The PML-N would make its government in all districts of Punjab, he said and added that local representatives of the party would serve masses round the clock.
