Social8 killed, 14 injured in Multan road accident

MULTAN, Pakistan: Eight persons were killed while 14 others sustained serious injuries in a pile-up at Makhdoom Rasheed, 20 kilometers away from Multan on Thursday.

According to Rescue 1122, a coach was heading towards Multan from Mailsi when a rashly driven bus coming from opposite direction collided with it near Mukhdoom Rasheed due to dense fog.

In the meantime, a van coming from behind hit the coach.

As a result, Imran Khan (32), Muzaffar Iqbal (23), Muhammad Yousuf (32), Abdul Ghaffar (52), Imran (35), Kashif (28), and two unknown persons died on the spot while 14 others suffered serious injuries.

The injured were shifted to Nishtar hospital by Rescue 1122.
