ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Shifa International Hospital (SIH) in Islamabad would arrange an awareness seminar “World Cancer Day” at its Premises on February 3 (Saturday).
An official of the Shifa International Hospital Faiza Awan said that the Director General Health Services Islamabad (CDA) Dr Hasan Orooj will be the Chief Guest at the seminar.
Renowned Journalist, Anchorperson and Analyst Syed Talat Hussain would participate as a Guest Speaker on the occasion.
Faiza Awan said that the aim of the seminar to make people aware about the acute disease.
There are different symbols that are used to help promote the fight against different types of cancers she added.
For example, the pink ribbon is a global symbol of breast cancer awareness, while the orange ribbon is associated with child cancer awareness.
