Sindh lawmakers demand ban on illegal SIMS

KARACHI: The Sindh Assembly on Monday unanimously passed a resolution asking the provincial government to approach the federal government for the closure of illegal and unregistered SIMs.

The resolution was tabled by the provincial lawmaker of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Dr. Seema Zia.

Speaking on the occasion, the Sindh Minister for Information Sharjeel Inam Memon said that federal government has already been requested to take action against illegal and unregistered SIMs.
