Javed Hashmi to be part of PTI’s long march

LAHORE, Pakistan: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) senior leader Javed Hashmi has agreed to be a part of the party’s planned long march towards the federal capital on August 14, the sources said.

Earlier, a delegation of the PTI comprising Dr Arif Alvi, Mian Mehmood-ur-Rasheed, Umer Dar and Aijaz Janjua met the party’s disgruntled senior leader at his residence in Multan and tried to convince him to take part in the Azadi march.

The sources said that Javed Hashmi after successful negotiation with the delegation not only agreed to be a part of the long march, rather he will also lead the march.
