ISLAMABAD: The government has allocated 3.5 billion rupees for the Qarz-e-Hasana scheme during the current economic year under the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme.

Under this microfinance interest free loan facility‚ two hundred fifty thousand loans of an average amount of twenty five thousand rupees would be disbursed to the youth.

Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund would be the central executing agency of the scheme.
