ISLAMABD: Former Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Admiral (retd) Fasih Bokhari on Friday filed a petition in the Supreme Court to review its judgment in which his appointment was declared null and void.

Meanwhile, the Supreme Court issued its 27 page detailed verdict of the case on Friday.

Earlier, a five-member bench of the apex court headed by Justice Asif Saeed Khosa had declared Fasih Bokhari’s appointment null and void on May 28 and directed the federal government to appoint a new NAB chairman.

The court had ruled that the opposition leader was not consulted over Bokhari’s appointment which was a violation of the constitution.
