ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated tomorrow (Tuesday) across Pakistan with religious zeal and fervour as the Shawwal crescent has been sighted in various parts of the country.

It was announced by the Chairman Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Mufti Muneeb ur Rehman at a meeting held in Karachi on Monday evening for the sighting of Shawwal (1435 Hijri) crescent.

The zonal committees also held their meetings at their respective locations.

Meanwhile, Eid that marks the end of the holy month of Ramazan is being celebrated today in several parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the tribal areas as well as in Saudi Arabia and neighbouring states.

Today, besides several parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the federally administrated tribal areas (FATA), Eid-ul-Fitr is being celebrated in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Kuwait, Iraq and Jordan and other Middle Eastern countries.

Similarly, Muslims in many western countries including the United States and United Kingdom are also celebrating Eid.
