ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Senate Elections are set to be held on March 3, 2021 for which main political parties including ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) have announced their respective Candidates.

A total of 48 Senators will be elected in the Elections including 12 each from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, 11 each from Punjab and Sindh, and 2 from Islamabad.

Following Candidates have been nominated by PTI for Senate Elections 2021;

From Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

On General Seat:

  • Shibli Faraz
  • Mohsin Aziz
  • Zeeshan Khanzada
  • Faisal Saleem Najiullah Khattak

On Technocrat Seat:

  • Dost Muhammad Mehsud
  • Dr. Humayun Mohmand

On Women’s Seat:

  • Sania Nishtar
  • Falak Naz Chitrali

On Minorities Seat:

  • Gurdeep Singh

From Punjab

On General Seat:

  • Saifullah Khan Nyazee
  • Ejaz Ahmad Chaudhry
  • Aon Abbas Buppi

On Technocrat Seat:

  • Ali Zafar

On Women’s Seat:

  • Dr. Zarqa Taimoor

From Balochistan

On General Seat:

  • Zahoor Agha

From Islamabad

Meanwhile, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Friday began the process of receiving Nomination Papers from the aspiring Candidates for the Senate Elections.

The Candidates can submit their Nomination Papers with the relevant Returning Officers (ROs) by February 15.
