ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) has revised its strategy and now plans to hold its Jalsa (Public gathering) as part of its Azadi March in Islamabad tomorrow (Friday).

The Azadi March, which kicked off its journey towards Islamabad on October 27 aiming at seeking Prime Minister Imran Khan’s resignation, was scheduled to reach the Federal Capital today and culminate at H-9 area.

However, now as per the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Ahsan Iqbal, the leaders will address the Azadi March in Islamabad tomorrow. He said that the decision was made in the light of multiple casualties caused by an inferno that engulfed Tezgam Express near Rahim Yar Khan’s Liaquatpur City.

The JUI-F leader and the former Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Akram Khan Durrani also confirmed the news about alteration in the previous plan.

The JUI-F Chief said that all convoys are setting off for Islamabad as per the schedule.

The PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif, who hasn’t yet made his appearance in the Azadi March, is also likely to reach Islamabad and join Maulana Fazlur Rehman.

Though workers of PML-N, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and some regional parties from Sindh & Punjab have already joined the rally, and now Awami National Parties (ANP) workers have also departed from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to stand by JUI-F.
