No plan to raise railway’s fares: Saad

LAHORE: The federal minister for railway Khawaja Saad Rafique said on Saturday that no proposal is under consideration to raise the railway’s fares.

   

Talking to media representatives in Lahore on Saturday, the railway minister said that as many as 29 new locomotives will reach Pakistan shortly. He said that special focus is being paid to the maintenance of locomotives despite resource constraints.

The minister said that every possible effort is being made to provide better travelling services.
